Photography
Photography (digital, anyway. I might get into film when I have a job) is one of the subjects in my college course, though I was interested far before I started. At the moment I own a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. I have hit the limit of what it can do for me. (Ken Rockwell, we need GOOD cameras. So stop spouting out that rubbish that you can take good shots with a point-and-shoot)
I'm hoping to buy a Nikon D80 one day, or its rumoured upgrade (D80s, D80x, D90).
I acknowledge that most of the shots on my DeviantArt page (linked at the bottom) are pretty rubbish. I haven't uploaded anything new in a while. Most of the time I make a shot with the Lumix grain craps all over it and it looks like something done with a webcam.
Art
Pretty much all drawing. Anime/Manga and realistic. If you don't count the photography.
Music
Out of my four primary interests here, this would have to be the one i'm least active with. I own 5 guitars and 2 keyboards. I pick up a guitar once every 4 weeks, I play keyboard once every two months, lol (lots of trouble to set up) and play around in FL Studio once in a blue moon. I have dozens upon dozens of unfinished tracks. They are, how you say, gathering 'digital' dust.
I think I might sell some gear towards the above camera.
Computers
This is something I have stuck with since I like 6. The other 3 interests cross-over into this; for example, I do post-processing for my photos in Photoshop/Lightroom, turn my drawings into Vectors art via Adobe Illustrator and do my music in FL Studio.
At the heart of my system, is an Intel Core 2 E6400 processor overclocked to 3GHz. 2GB RAM. Two 250GB harddrives. On the visual side of things, I work with two 24" wide LCD monitors side by side, being fed by an aging GeForce 7900 GT. All the noise comes out of Logitech X-510 5.1 surround speakers (It's pretty crap so I chucked away the center and rear speakers) running off an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro.
